Dear Parents,

CHURCH CAMP 2009 involves "camping out" at the church, daily bible studies and various events around town throughout the week. The entire fee for this year's Church Camp is $99.00 per student and includes:

1. All Meals (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
2. Transportation to All Events
3. Admission Fees to All Events
3. Bible Study Notebook
4. 2009 Church Camp T-Shirt

(Note: The typical cost for summer youth camps is from $300.00 to $450.00 for a week.)

This year's Church Camp events include:

Mon: USS Midway Photo Scavenger Hunt, Coronado Beach Bonfire
Tues: Balboa Park Picnic and Museums
Wed: Del Mar Fair
Thur: San Diego Zoo

Fri: Camp Concludes at 12 noon.

Pastor Carey and Christine Roberts will be the adult chaperones at the church each night. We could use a few adult chaperones on the day trips during the week to help with transportation.

Questions

1. Do the youth have to sleep at the church to be involved in Church Camp 2009? This is recommended, but not required.

2. Do the youth have to attend all the events? Again, it is recommended for the group experience, but not required. Parents will need to provide their own transportation if their child is not coming with the group.

3. How much will the camp fee be if my child doesn’t attend all events?
It is difficult to plan such a camp if various young people attend some but not all events. However, we will try to make some adjustment for your child if he/she does not participate in every event.

4. How much money does my child need to bring? All admissions and food is covered by the $99 camp fee. If your child wishes to buy souvenirs and/or additional snacks, you can decide to give them extra cash.

5. Are laptops and ipods allowed?
Yes, as long as they are not used during bible studies and group activities.

6. Will they be able to shower daily?
It’s a camp! No shower facilities are available at the church. However, we are planning to allow everyone one shower (girls at Kika's house, guys at PC's house) during the week.

7. What should they bring?
