The book of Acts is the second volume in Luke's history of  "all Jesus began to do and teach." Volume one was Luke's gospel account of the life of Christ. Volume two is his record to his friend Theophilus of Christ's continuing ministry to a lost world through his apostles by the power of the Spirit of God. Many different models are promoted today regarding how Christians are to "do church." Acts provides a much needed reminder of God's message to the lost and His method in accomplishing the Great Commission.
