Passionate Love for God
Believing the motives for our actions are more important to God than just the outward acts alone, we encourage God's people to obey and serve Him from hearts filled with gratitude and passionate love for Christ rather than being motivated by guilt and pressure (Matthew 22:37).
Genuine Love for Others
Believing that love and unity within the Church gives genuine credibility to the our witness, we encourage God's people to love one another fervently, give their best effort to promote unity and to resist every effort by Satan to cause division among us (John 13:34-35, 17:20-22; Ephesians 4:3; Matthew 12:25).
Strong Biblical Teaching
Believing in the absolute sufficiency of God's Word to meet every need in our lives, we are committed to uncompromised, sound biblical teaching as the primary means to promote Christlike maturity (Psalms 1:1-3; Acts 20:32; 2 Tim. 3:16-17, 4:1-2).
Godly Leadership
Believing that Christ alone is the true Head of the Church, we encourage God's people to humbly submit to the collective wisdom of godly elders who seek the mind and will of Christ for this ministry (Hebrews 13:17; I Peter 5:1-5).
Personal Holiness
Believing that God desires every believer to be conformed to the image of His Son, we stress the importance of genuine repentance from sinful attitudes and actions as well as the pursuit of personal growth in holiness through obedience to God's Word (Romans 12:1-2; I Peter 1:14-16).
Active Intercession
Believing that without God's intervention, no true spiritual ministry can be acomplished, we encourage God's people to pray on behalf of this church regarding the conception, planning and execution of every ministry (Matthew 7:7-11).
Shared Ministry
Believing that God has uniquely gifted every Christian for active participation in the ministry of the church, we encourage our members to seek God's leading in the discovery and use of their spiritual gifts for the good of others and the glory of God (I Cor. 12:4-7; Eph. 4:11-16).
Spirit-led Living
Believing that God's Spirit leads and empowers His Church, we encourage God's people to continually seek the Spirit's filling and leading in their lives and ministries (Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 5:16).
Christlike Humility
Believing that God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble, we encourage God's people to cultivate a true servant's heart that finds joy in putting the needs of others above their own (Mark 10:42-45; Rom. 12:10; Phil. 2:3-7).
World Missions
Believing that Christ commissioned His Church to make disciples of all nations, we are committed to going beyond our own borders with the good news by investing in world missions (Matthew 28:19; Acts 1:8).
Ministry Excellence
Believing that God's judgment, not man's, is what matters most, we encourage God's people to commit themselves to excellence in all they do for the Lord (I Corinthians 10:31; Colossians 3:23-24).
